These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of LoadLedger (https://theloadledger.com) and related services (the "Service"). In these Terms, "we", "us", and "Supplier" refer to the operator of LoadLedger listed in the Contact section below.
1. The Service
LoadLedger is software for independent freight dispatchers: Rate Con import and extraction, commission rules, dispatch-fee invoicing, unpaid-invoice tracking, overdue email reminders, and document filing. Features may change over time.
LoadLedger is not a payment processor, payment gateway, or collections agency. Carriers pay dispatch fees outside the Service (for example ACH, wire, or check). You manually record when payment is received, including partial payments. Invoice PDFs may show a preferred payment method as instructions only — we do not initiate or process carrier payments or hold funds on your behalf.
Factoring-related features export document packages for your factoring company; LoadLedger does not provide factoring, financing, or freight payment services.

- Carriers pay dispatch fees outside LoadLedger (ACH, wire, check, etc.). You manually record when payment arrives, including partial payments.
- We do not process carrier payments, hold funds, or provide payment links or a payment gateway.
- Email invoice PDFs and send text-only overdue reminders — no online checkout for carriers.
- Factoring mode exports document packages for your factor — we do not provide factoring or financing.
- Your LoadLedger subscription is billed by Paddle (Merchant of Record) only.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. The address u_…@theloadledger.com (if assigned) is a forwarding address for Rate Cons only — not a mailbox you can sign into.
3. Free trial and subscriptions
- New accounts may receive a 14-day free trial without a credit card. When the trial ends, continued use requires a paid subscription.
- Paid plans are billed at $49 / month on a recurring basis unless canceled. Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled.
- You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing → Manage (Paddle customer portal). Cancellation stops future charges; access typically continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Pricing shown at checkout is the price you pay. Taxes may be calculated and collected by Paddle where applicable.
4. Payments — Paddle as Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for LoadLedger subscription fees only. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns for those subscription charges.
When you purchase a subscription, you enter into a transaction with Paddle as reseller. Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms apply at checkout. 5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt unauthorized access, upload unlawful content, or use the Service in violation of applicable law. You retain responsibility for the accuracy of dispatch, billing, and compliance data you enter or send through the Service.
6. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that extracted Rate Con data is error-free. You should review critical fields before invoicing or paying carriers.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
