This Privacy Policy describes how LoadLedger collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use the Service (https://theloadledger.com). The operator of LoadLedger is identified in the Contact section below.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: email address, password (hashed), business name, and settings you provide during onboarding.
- Operational data: loads, carriers, invoices, documents, commission rules, and notes you enter in the app.
- Rate Con & documents: PDFs and images you upload or forward to your assigned forwarding address; extracted fields and processing metadata.
- Usage & technical data: logs, device/browser information, and error reports used to secure and improve the Service.
- Billing data: subscription status and Paddle customer identifiers stored in our database. Payment card details are collected and processed by Paddle — we do not store them.
2. How we use data
We use data to provide and improve the Service, authenticate users, extract Rate Con fields, send invoices you request, process inbound forwarded email, enforce limits, support customers, and comply with legal obligations. We do not process carrier dispatch-fee payments or hold carrier funds.
3. Service providers
We use trusted processors, including:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting
- Resend — outbound email and inbound Rate Con forwarding
- Paddle — subscription billing (Merchant of Record)
- LLM providers — document extraction (Rate Con PDFs/images sent for parsing; we send document content needed for extraction)
- Sentry (if enabled) — error monitoring
- Vercel — application hosting
Processors are bound by contracts and use data only to perform services for us, except where they act as independent controllers (e.g. Paddle for payment compliance).
4. Email forwarding
Your Rate Con forwarding address is not a login mailbox. Mail sent there is processed automatically; attachments may be stored in our systems and visible to us as the platform operator for support and abuse prevention.
5. Retention
We retain account and operational data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us. Some records may be kept longer where required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact support@theloadledger.com to exercise these rights. EU/UK users may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and row-level security in our database. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-app notice where appropriate.
